B Configuring Lync Server 2013
This appendix describes how to configure Microsoft Lync Server 2013 topology builder to
operate with AudioCodes device’s entities.
It also describes how to configure an Analog device via the Lync Management Shell.
Note: Routes, Dial plans, voice policies, and PSTN usages are also necessary for
Enterprise voice deployment; however, they are beyond the scope of this
document.
B.1 Configuring the Device as an IP / PSTN Gateway
The procedure below describes how to configure the device as an IP / PSTN Gateway.
You need to configure the following entities:
Gateway entity – ACGW.ilync15.local
SBC entity – ACGW2.ilync15.local
B.1.1 Configuring the Gateway Entity
This section describes how to configure the gateway entity as an IP/PSTN gateway and to
associate it with the Mediation Server.
To configure the Gateway entity as an IP/PSTN Gateway and associate it with
the Mediation Server:
1. On the server where the Topology Builder is installed, start the Lync Server 2013
Topology Builder (point to Windows Start menu, click All Programs, and then click
Lync Server Topology Builder).
